REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY


If you are not satisfied with your purchase, or simply change your mind, then you can return your item within 14 days of receiving your order by following the returns process below:


Please contact us at online-shop@dragonflyjewellery.co.uk quoting your order number for instructions on how to return your item.


The item you wish to return must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging provided (pouch, card, box or bag). Items that appear worn or used will not be refunded and will be returned to the customer.


Our policy lasts 14 days. The purchased item you wish to return must be received by us within 14 days of receiving your order.


NON RETURNABLE GOODS


The law allows that several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Please note that we DO NOT accept returns on earrings for pierced ears due to hygiene. However exceptions may be made if a customer contacts us as soon as the item is received and the item is returned sealed in the condition it was shipped. We reserve the right to offer exchange only on these items.


All products are covered by our standard 6 month warranty to cover any manufacturing defects. Please note the warranty is void if any damage is incurred by the customer, including any damage caused by perfumes, bleaching, heat exposure and general wear and tear. Any lost items cannot be replaced or refunded.


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


SHIPPING


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund and are sent a replacement item, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.


If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Any items that do not reach us are the responsibility of the customer.


REFUND POLICY


Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


REFUNDS


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.


INTERNATIONAL RETURNS


Please ensure that you state you are "returning to seller" in the reason for export field on your postage label. You must also state that the item is of no retail value, as we can not accept customs charges to receive your return. We strongly recommend using a tracked and shipped service for return as we cannot refund/exchange items that don't reach us safely. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please note we do NOT refund international customs taxes and sales charges.


If returning a faulty item from abroad that is within the 14 day returns period we will cover return postage if agreed beforehand and is deemed faulty upon inspection when it has arrived to us, but we cannot pay more than £15 for return postage at any one time, if the cost for return is over £15 the customer is liable for the extra charge.


If you would like to exchange one item for another, you must first return the original item and then place a new order. You will be refunded for the original item in accordance with our usual returns policy.


PARTIAL REFUNDS


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted. If your item is not eligable for a full refund because it does not meet the criteria (such as being returned without original packaging), we reserve the right to offer a partial refund.


LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS


If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at: online-shop@dragonflyjewellery.co.uk.


SALE ITEMS


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Sales prices are applicable from the point of announcement and advertisement. Items purchased at full RRP are not applicable to be discounted after payment has been taken.


Promotional codes: Only one promotional code can be used at a time. Gift cards cannot be used alongside any other promotional codes.


EXCHANGES


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please send us an email at online-shop@dragonflyjewellery.co.uk for instructions on how to return your item.


We cannot repair damage to any items that exceed 6 months from purchase. Any damage incurred by the customer from mis-use cannot be repaired.


Tarnishing or discolouration due to chemical contact or inappropriate cleaning methods or use is not a fault. Please see our care instructions on how to avoid this.


GIFTS


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.


If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

PRIVACY POLICY


WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?


When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.


When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.


EMAIL MARKETING


We do not currently undertake email marketing, and so will not use your email address for this purpose. If you receive an email purporting to be marketing from Dragonfly Jewellery, this is likely to be fraudulent.


CONSENT


When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.#


If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.


CONSENT WITHDRAWAL


If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at online-shop@dragonflyjewellery.co.uk.


DISCLOSURE


We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.


ONE.COM


Our store is hosted by One.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through One.com's data storage, databases and the general One.com application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.


PAYMENT


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our third-party payment gateway might use your credit card info for that purpose. See 'Third Party Services'.


THIRD-PARTY SERVICES


In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.


However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

We reserve the right to modify our terms of service at any time, so please review it frequently.
